607 days. It took 607 days to get into the perfect retirement home for my buyers. My buyers were relocating. They had a pretty expansive area they were looking in and didn't have a definitive timeline. We looked at A LOT of houses and some areas were 2 hours away. We came close a few times. A backup offer last summer that never came through. A terminated contract in the fall and another offer that couldn't get negotiated to what we wanted. The idea of what they wanted changed from being in remote area with land to ending up in the complete opposite! Real estate takes a lot of patience and flexibility. I couldn't be happier for where they ended up! I am grateful they allowed me to help them through this journey and the new friends I got to make.
