A recent trip with Jeff’s cousin brought us to Memphis, and a visit with John Jerit John Jerit , the self-proclaimed “Folkaholic,” turned into an unforgettable overnight stay!

John welcomed us as house guests, and we got to sleep surrounded by part of his incredible art collection. It was amazing. 

But the best part of our time there was John himself. His stories, enthusiasm and generosity made us feel like old friends.

So grateful that our love of folk art brought this wonderful person into our lives!

And thank you, Jeff Giles , for keeping life wonderfully eccentric. Naturally, we couldn’t leave Memphis without you buying the Elvis painting at the end of this video! 🎨🕺
