How we take TIME⌛️ for granted.

I know better, but it’s moments like this that remind me to RESET… to re-prioritize what really matters and stop taking for granted the luxury of time.

I used to think I had time.

Time to make the call.
Time to take the trip.
Time to sit a little longer with the people I love.
Time to slow down and enjoy what I worked so hard to build.

My grandmother’s passing reminded me of something we all know, but sometimes forget: time is one of life’s greatest luxuries, and none of us are promised an unlimited amount of it.

We spend so much of life chasing things… success, money, homes, cars, accomplishments. And there is nothing wrong with building a beautiful life. But material things are just that material. They can be replaced.

This season has reset something in me.

I want to laugh more. Travel more. Have fun. Be present. Make the call. Take the picture. Sit at the table a little longer. And most importantly, make intentional time for the people who matter to me.
Take more chances.
Do things that scare me.
Stop overthinking.
Laugh at myself.
And give fewer F’s about things that don’t deserve my energy. 😂

Some people may say, “97 years is a long life.” And it is. But when someone has been there your entire life, somehow you still believe you have more time. I realize now that I took for granted that she had always been there… and that she always would be.

That is the reminder for me.

One day, the things we thought were so urgent won’t seem nearly as important as the moments we thought we had more time to create.

Cherish your people. Enjoy your life. Make the memories.
Time is the real luxury. ❤️

This weekend’s event by Nickand Brothersllc was truly inspiring.

Thank you, Delphine Bryant , for opening your doors and sharing your vision. Getting a behind-the, scenes look at the development process, from lenders and attorneys to general contractors, landscapers, real estate agents, and brokers operating at such a high level, was invaluable.

But what stood out most was your leadership. Hearing your team speak so highly of your character, faith, and vision said everything. And meeting your boys was the greatest testament of all. Their humble spirit, respect, and character were a beautiful manifestation of the seeds you’ve sown. As they say, the fruit reveals the tree, and your greatest legacy isn’t just what you’ve built, it’s who you’ve raised and the lives you’ve impacted.

And the thoughtful thank-you gift was just another touch of class. It reflected your commitment to not only building exceptional communities, but also inspiring others through knowledge.

Thank you for pouring into all of us. The best leaders don’t just build projects, they build people and leave a legacy that lasts.
