HOME BUYER TIP‼️‼️‼️ Stop‼️Don't buy a new car if you want a new house! Did you know the amount of home you can qualify for is based on your debt to income ratio? If you're in the process of buying a home the last thing you want to do is add any more monthly payments to your name. It can dramatically decrease how much home you can qualify to get a loan for. People have become disqualified for a home loan they were getting because they went out and bought a new car before they closed on their new house. When they lost their home loan, they had to back out of the house purchase. You want to avoid this type of disappointment so be sure to speak with your agent and lender before taking on any new debt. Buyers tip of the day‼️‼️Home insurance is a must, but somehow with everything else going on in the home buying process it can get lost in the shuffle until the last minute. If you're not worried about having it in place prior to closing your lender certainly is and they will require you to have decided on a provider and policy before they will fund your loan. You don't want to be scrambling at the last minute to get a policy in place so try to get your home insurance squared away within a week of going under contract on your new home.

A tearful send-off this afternoon for New Eltham's favourite son, Jerome Humes, who has captured the hearts of shoppers at New Eltham's Co-op for the past two years. A new career, as a teaching assistant in Catford, starts on Monday, aided by a crowdfunded leaving present of £600. Proud mum Valecia said: "He's always wanted to work with children but he's enjoyed his time at New Eltham and people seem to have taken to him. The leaving gift was organised by Natasha Moten via the New Eltham Village SE9 page. "We wish him well, he's been such a helpful and cheerful personality", she said.
