Praying for all those involved - let your maintenance men know you appreciate them today it’s getting harder and harder at different apartment communities and maintenance men are typically the first ones on scene to help assist with any issues on property so this is absolutely heartbreaking.
UPDATE: LINCOLN POLICE INVESTIGATING DOUBLE HOMICIDE
Officers were dispatched to the area of 4600 Briarpark Dr., The Lodge Apartments, regarding two individuals who were struck and killed by a motor vehicle near the clubhouse on Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 1:22 p.m. This vehicle was driven by 27-year-old female Taylor Bradley, a resident of the complex. Bradley was lodged on two counts of 2nd degree murder and is currently in the Lancaster County Correctional facility.
Video and witness accounts of the incident support the arrest of Taylor Bradley for second degree murder as they exhibit intent. Intent is further supported by the location where the victims were run over which is approximately 20-30 yards from any roadway.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue paramedics were summoned to the scene and after an assessment, declared the two victims deceased. Autopsies will occur in the coming days.
The two victims, men in the 40’s, were maintenance employees of the apartment complex. Their names will not be released at this time.
This investigation is ongoing. It will take some time to more clearly understand the circumstances of this incident. This is a tragic event for the families of all involved as well as our community. We ask that you please respect their privacy.
