Last Thursday, a room full of women did something rare: they paused... did I say on a Thursday! Rarely do we take time for ourselves on a weekday, but the room was full. 💛

Recently, I watched a room full of women do something most of us rarely do: pause.

For years I've walked alongside families through late-life transitions, and I've lived it with my own mother. I know how often the women holding everything together are the last ones cared for. So when my sister-friend shared her idea for 𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥, I couldn't let it go, and I'm so glad we ran with it.

On October 1, that idea filled the Upper Room at Ignatius House, Atlanta. One day. Three pillars: Wealth. Health. Self. And every moment designed to care for each woman in every sense.

I drove home late that night tired, full, and so grateful. Grateful for Genie. To our dearest friends, Shari and Janequa: thank you both for keeping every detail and all our logistics in order so Genie and I could be fully present. We couldn't have done it without you. And grateful for every woman who said yes, and for the Beloved Backers and speakers who poured into that room.

I woke up the next morning feeling cuddled by God for giving us all that we needed for that day. It was truly a special day, shared with longtime friends and new friends, all now part of the 𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 Circle.

If you were there, thank you for trusting us with your day. If you weren't, I hope you'll give yourself permission to pause this week, even if just five minutes, and do something entirely for yourself.

Clarity changes everything. Sometimes it begins with rest. 💛

It began as an idea from my sister-friend .

An idea that women who give so much of themselves deserve one day to simply be cared for. The more we talked, the more we knew we couldn't let it go. It felt too needed. So we made a commitment, and that idea became our Beloved Retreat.

One intimate day, designed around the five senses and built on three pillars: Wealth. Health. Self.

Beloved began as an invitation-only gathering, and we're grateful to share that we passed our minimum guest count. Now, as we thank the Backers who helped make this day possible, we're opening the door just a little wider. A few seats remain.
