As you may know, several of Cortland’s Texas communities have been impacted in some way by the devastating effects of Winter Storm Uri. More than 900 Cortland associates and residents across Texas were devastated by the loss of their belongings as a result of frozen pipes and flooding. Worst of all, two of our communities – Cortland at Stonebriar in Frisco and Cortland View at TPC in San Antonio – suffered catastrophic fires made worse by city-wide water outages, leaving hundreds of families who lost everything in the fire or were displaced from their homes. We deeply appreciate that many of you have been asking how you can help those families in need, and we wanted to share with you a way you can do so.
If you can, please consider making a donation to our Cortlandia Fund, a not-for-profit 501c3 set up to help members of the Cortland family who have suffered extreme loss. In this instance, we’ve expanded the reach of the fund to specifically include residents most severely impacted by these fires and the storm. Every little bit helps, and all gifts will be acknowledged as charitable contributions and will go directly to helping these Cortland associates and residents.
