A special welcome to Laura Coates, whom I had the pleasure of meeting last year in the airport. Despite her busy schedule, Laura took a moment while walking to her gate to stop and speak with me. When I shared that I was traveling to visit my ill brother, she kindly offered to record a video message for him on my phone.

Though my brother has since passed away, he was able to see Laura’s heartfelt message—and it brought a huge smile to his face. I will forever be grateful for her compassion and thoughtfulness in that moment!

A great time was had at MSU Homecoming 2024! In addition to seeing old friends to meeting new ones, I was also able to party with a purpose by registering unregistered voters at our tailgate. Bonus of the trip…quality time with my dad, daughter, niece and cousin! Go Green!…
