Let’s get honest. It’s what this platform should be, right?

This birthday hits different. Maybe it’s a feeling of some sort of middle point? Maybe it’s the idea of a new decade. Maybe it’s because now my kids can say I’m “old.” As one friend put it, to be “on the other side.”

It gives me pause and makes me take a moment to give thanks for this incredible life- no doubt full of ups and downs. I never take for granted the Lord’s blessings.

2025 was wonderful both personally and professionally. As it relates to my job, the volume and units are not what is important to me. I don’t measure my business based on how many closings I had. I value quality over quantity. I look at the relationships I built. The new friends I made. The clients I helped buy a home they get to fill with memories for years to come. The trust and confidence you place in me is never lost. I am so blessed to do what I do.

I had my last closing of 2025 in mid December. I slowly walked into the holidays with small client activity… and honestly, it was refreshing. I focused on my kids, locked in to help them prepare for exams, and excitedly did the Christmas shopping without work deadlines and pressures. I both reflected and rested. Nourished my soul. I put my 2026 business plan on paper and knew what January would hold.

Thanks for following me. Posting photos of pretty homes and stories along the way- that’s the point of my page. Maybe cute photos of my kids… and throwing Daisy in there sometimes.

So, thank you. To family, friends, and clients. Let’s go 2026. I’m embracing this new decade with few wrinkles and little grays. That’s a win in my book. Icing on the cake will be an Ole Miss natty 🏈

My friend bought a house today. Well—my client too. Let me explain: she was a friend first, then became a client. And I am so dang proud of her.

A mutual friend (that’s you, PP 🫶🏻) introduced us and we instantly clicked. Then I met more of their friends… and now I’m one of them, I think? Even if I’m not, I’m never going away. Sorry, girls 😉

We’ve been through so many highs and lows over what feels like a decade, and today, patience and persistence finally paid off. There were plenty of tears—mostly mine (no surprise there!).
Closing on a home is such a strange, beautiful feeling. It’s like one chapter ends, and a new one begins—the post-closing one. The one where I get to check in on renovations, drop by with gifts, catch up over lunch, and just be part of the next phase.
I’m here for all of it—the first, the last, and everything in between. The highs, the lows, and all the wild moments that come with buying a home.
Watching a friend make it happen? Absolutely incredible.
