I met Tumara and Todd at an open house in Decatur in 2016, and what started as a real estate transaction, grew into a decade of trust I’m truly proud of. Today, we celebrated closing number 4 together.🎉

We’ve come a long way: buying their home in Decatur in 2016, then their forever home on Lake Lucerne in 2019. Selling their cherished Decatur family in 2025, and today, landing in their perfect intown space as empty nesters in Candler Park. Walkable to so many great things including a block away from Freedom Park for Todo.🐶

Downsizing isn’t just about square footage… It’s about reimagining what your new life will look like, and finding a space to live your best life in the chapter you’re beginning.

And downsizing felt hard…. So they took a few month to rent before making commitment. But when you know, you know. Todd called on April 1st. Under contract by the 3rd. closed on the 23rd.

July was a month I’ll never forget!

I earned the #2 individual agent spot in my office of 225+ agents, with 7 closings, and $3.2 million in sales volume. And I even helped my first client lease a home! 🤷🏻‍♂️🙌

It was the busiest month of my decade as a Realtor… and it somehow included a week off in Florida in the middle!⛱️

It’s the most transactions I’ve ever closed in a single month, and the highest sales volume I’ve ever hit.🥳

And in an office like mine, I STILL wasn’t the top agent, which just shows how inspiring and high-achieving this community is. I’m beyond grateful to be surrounded by people who push me to set bigger goals and break records I didn’t even know I could break.

PARENTS! How do you deal with your kids doing something you've advised them against? Or then they're acting like the expert already?

I only ask, because having clients that refuse to listen to my advice at their own expense, I eventually have to let them fail so they'll get on the board. Does this feel similar to you?

Just as I’m settling into focusing on my 2024 clients, 2023 pulls me back in one last time!

Real estate, and all sales jobs, focus on LAG measures while reflecting on results from previous months or years of production. (Which is a nice way of saying “You’re only as good as your last sale.” 🤢)

Sure, the closings, volume, and commissions matter. We need to feed our family. But prioritizing daily habits, better relationships, and my LEAD measures, keeps me focused on what matters most.

And what matters most is helping the people in my life with their goals. Helping you get what you want in return helps me get what I need - what a life! ❤️

A reminder to worry about what you can control, and come from a good place of gratitude and integrity when helping those around you.

Thank you to those that trusted me in 2023… Grateful for another opportunity to reflect on your trust and our relationship. Now, let’s move on to the new year.
