A great day on the courts with NWMAR! 🏓

Last Saturday, NWMAR members and friends came together at Hamilton Crossing Park for the PAF Pickleball Tournament! From friendly competition on the courts to plenty of opportunities to connect off them, it was a great day of pickleball and community.

A huge thank you to everyone who played and came out to cheer on the competition! And a special thank you to our incredible Corporate Investors for making it all possible! Your participation and support of PAF made the day even more meaningful!

And congratulations to all of our tournament winners! 🏆

🛏️💙 40 BEDS. 50+ VOLUNTEERS. ONE INCREDIBLE DAY OF SERVICE. 💙🛏️

What an amazing day for the Northwest Metro Association of REALTORS®!

More than 50 REALTORS®, affiliates, and community partners rolled up their sleeves and got to work, helping us build 40 beds that are now ready to be assembled and delivered into the homes of children in our community who are currently sleeping without a bed of their own.

We sell homes every day — but there is something incredibly special about being able to say that today, we built beds to go inside those homes. ❤️

We are so thankful to Sleep in Heavenly Peace for partnering with us and giving our association the opportunity to play a small part in such an incredible mission. Knowing that the work done today will soon give 40 children a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads at night makes every cut, every screw, and every bit of sawdust worth it!

A very special thank you to Patrick Woodall and his crew at the American Legion in Cartersville for supporting us and generously allowing us to use their facility for our build.

And thank you to Kristin Nelson with Jimmy John’s for coming out, supporting our volunteers, and providing lunch for our hardworking crew! 🥪❤️

But most of all, THANK YOU to every single person who showed up! You brought your time, your hands, your energy, and most importantly, your very BIG hearts. 🔨🛏️

This is what community looks like.

And this is what can happen when REALTORS®, affiliates, local businesses, and community partners come together for a common purpose.

40 beds. 40 children. 40 places to sleep that weren’t there before today. ❤️

Bartow and Gordon counties both posted stronger closed sales than a year ago in August, even as activity slowed from July. 📊

In Bartow County, 103 homes sold, up 18.9% year over year, while active inventory climbed to 634 listings. In Gordon County, 50 homes sold, up 6.4% year over year, with the median sales price reaching $290,500. Median prices remained above August 2025 levels in both counties.
