I am so proud of our David Garrison GlobalGlobal team and in 2022 Serene Varghese Real Estate lead the way with a career year! Not only is she an extraordinary Realtor but a mother, wife, animal lover and activist. I'm thrilled to work along side her and today we celebrate her success! Congrats my friend!
Today's the day that I celebrate ME! It feels strange to be lauding my business successes when terrible things are also happening-- SB 140 passed in GA yesterday, which is absolutely devastating. I've really struggled lately with balancing the good and the bad in the world-- celebrating small wins and successes in light of so much suffering.
When I decided to start my real estate career, I was in the midst of a straight up crisis-- I had a 2 and a 4 year old, my husband had been diagnosed with cancer, and my world was upside down. My sweet friend and neighbor encouraged me to get my real estate license. Over the last few years, with the help and guidance of my core people (and a lot of hard work), I grew a really successful business. I realized that I had a knack for my work, and it was fun and exciting. I have gotten to know my clients so intimately-- sometimes, you have to make a move because something awful has happened. We've navigated death, divorce, abuse, custody battles, mental health crises, job loss. We've also celebrated amazing milestones-- marriage, new employment, and new family members. We've done so much problem solving together-- credit repair, floods, critters, busted sewage pipes, lightning strikes, and so much more.
I wouldn't have been able to build this business without folks who believe in me and send their friends and family my way. Your belief in me feels like such an honor. I feel such gratitude for your support.
So, cheers to me and my crew for the successes we have endured together! I am grateful for a business where I am always learning and adapting, and I love y'all so much!
