Date night was super cute! Hubby wanted to try Three Maries Jazz Bar at the Omni Hotel in the French Quarters. With Jazz Fest wrapping up, traffic was a bit congested, but the hotel does offer valet parking that the bar validates for 6 hours so we basically only had to tip valet.
Our reservations were for 7:15. They had two sets - one from 6-9 & the other from 9-12 which is WAYYYYYY past our bedtime honey. Leroy Jones & “The Roberts” gave us quite the show!
The ambience was everything & service was superior. The bar offers a tapas style menu. We had the Jambalaya Arancini balls (pictured in video) as well as the shrimp toast. The Arancini was delightful. The shrimp toast was a little too “shrimpy” for me, but Hubs enjoyed. The signature cocktails were a little too expensive for my liking. Hubby ordered vodka & pineapple for $13 & I opted for a glass of Riesling, which ended up being an exact $1 less than the cocktail I considered so there’s that 🙄. All in, this date was less than $100 & gave us an excuse to get jazzy (pun intended 😉). 10/10
