When you stop fighting your house, life just flows better. You can feel the difference immediately.

Whether it is a simple vase with fresh flowers, hooks placed on your closet wall to coordinate + plan for a trip, or to hang dry cleaning quickly, to intentional space planning in your home office, or a place for all to crash as they come in the door = the mud or laundry room!
Everything can have it's place, even though at times it doesn't all make there ~ 😉

Storage can make sense. The layout works with you, not against you. The commute feels manageable. The upkeep doesn’t take over your weekends.

One of my favorite design moves in a home is a well-considered eat-in kitchen table.

It meets people where they already gather, becoming the everyday hub for meals, conversations, homework, and impromptu moments. A round table keeps the flow easy, while pops of color, layered textures, and a sculptural light bring warmth and energy to the space. Rugs & window treatments soften the room visually & acoustically, while helping it also feel comfortable, and not cavernous.

When the table & light are balanced in scale, they anchor the room and draw your eye upward. Adding natural light & a mirror, the space immediately opens the room up, is more inviting, & easier to really "live" in every day.
