Just Leased | 6,000 SF at Ponce City Market

Proud to announce that we’ve secured a 6,000 SF lease for Whiplash Comedy at Ponce City Market, a new comedy club concept from veteran comic and entrepreneur Marshall Chiles, located above City Winery off Glen Iris Drive.

This deal was especially meaningful for me, as someone who studied performing arts in college, helping bring a new cultural and entertainment venue to Atlanta feels like a full-circle moment.

It was a pleasure to work alongside our firm’s president, Bryant Cornett, and collaborate with Marshall and his team to make this vision a reality.

The Atlanta comedy and entertainment scene is growing, and Whiplash Comedy is going to be one to watch.

I had the pleasure of attending the SIOR Georgia Chapter Leadership Luncheon last week, and what an incredible experience it was.

While I’m not (yet) a member of SIOR, I’m grateful to my team at dtspade for making sure I was in the room with some of Atlanta’s top commercial real estate brokers. Being surrounded by such seasoned professionals was both energizing and inspiring, definitely has me setting my sights on membership in the near future.

One of the highlights of the event was the keynote by Chip Bell, who shared powerful insights on creating exceptional customer experiences. His talk was both practical and inspiring, and we even walked away with a copy of his book (which is already on my reading list).

I also had the chance to attend alongside several of my fellow DTSpade brokers, always great to connect, learn, and grow together.

Looking forward to what’s next.

Had a great time yesterday at The Practice Power Circle: Designing Wealth, Growth, and Security for Modern Medical Practices.

The room was full of people who spend their days helping medical practices grow, from building spaces to structuring deals, and the conversations were eye-opening. We talked about the hidden challenges that can quietly slow a practice’s growth, and how the right connections can turn potential risks into opportunities.

Big thanks to Dr. Nicole Garner Scott and Stephanie Herring for bringing together such a collaborative group. It’s always inspiring to be around people who are passionate about helping practices not just grow, but thrive.

I’ve officially stepped into a new position within my commercial real estate firm as Brokerage Partner and I couldn’t be more energized about what’s ahead.

This move gives me the chance to go deeper into the work I love: helping clients make smart, strategic real estate decisions that drive real results.

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend ACHE of Georgia’s Summit on the Coast in Savannah—a premier event bringing together over 130 healthcare executives and industry leaders.

From the opening networking reception to powerful keynote sessions by leaders like Joon S. Lee, MD (CEO, Emory Healthcare) and Corwin N. Harper, FACHE (President, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of GA), the Summit was a valuable experience. I spent the day immersed in conversations about crisis leadership, strategic healthcare operations, and the future of care delivery.

As a commercial real estate advisor specializing in healthcare, events like this are critical. They deepen my understanding of provider challenges, inform how I guide clients in site selection, facility planning, and expansion strategy—and most importantly, keep me aligned with the people driving innovation in care.
