One of the greatest benefits of being part of the NeighborWorks America Network is access to world-class professional development. Beyond the National Training Institutes held throughout the year, NeighborWorks is expanding regional learning opportunities—and Atlanta is next.

I'm excited that (ANDP), Quest Community Development Corporation, NeighborWorks Columbus, and NeighborWorks America are partnering to host the Atlanta Regional Group Learning event.

This regional training opportunity will bring together housing, community development, and nonprofit professionals for specialized learning pathways focused on homeownership stability, heirs' property, leadership coaching, nonprofit marketing and branding, and housing counseling certification.

Strong communities require strong practitioners. This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen skills, build relationships with peers, and bring new ideas and tools back to the communities we serve.

We're thrilled to be part of the team to help bring this project to life. And more thrilled for the future residents of this property. Safe, comfortable, and AFFORDABLE housing is essential for families to truly thrive. Thank you to Gorman & Company for your partnership.

This project is a great example of what it takes to move affordable housing forward in today’s environment—it truly requires strong partnership. You have a national developer in Gorman & Company, mission-driven capital from partners like the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, CREA, and Advantage Capital, and flexible financing from ANDP’s Loan Fund all working together to make this possible. No one organization can do this alone. It’s that kind of collaboration that allows us to create more affordable housing opportunities in communities like East Point, especially in locations that connect residents to jobs, transit, and long-term stability.
