When submitting your initial mortgage application your credit score will drop typically 2 to 4 points. Any mortgage applications submitted after that, within a 30 day window, do not impact your credit score. As such, it is encouraged that you to apply with multiple lenders to see who can qualify you with a loan program with the most favorable rate and terms for your situation.
