Yolanda Renee King, the 17-year-old, one and only granddaughter of civil rights icons Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, graduated from The Atlanta International School in Georgia on May 22, 2026. She will continue her education by attending Columbia University in New York City in the fall.

Martin Luther King Jr. graduated from three major institutions: Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1948, Crozer Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Divinity in 1951, and Boston University with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Systematic Theology in 1955.
