✨Reason No. 61: Because buying a home deserves more focus than a trending moment.

I’ll keep it real… partially because choreography is not my thing and partially because my teenage daughter would absolutely think it’s cringe… but mostly because that’s just not really how I show up online.

You won’t see me doing trending dances or trying to go viral for the sake of it, but if you know me and how personal this business is to me, then you know that you will get a very specific type of experience working with me.

✨ I will take the time to understand
your lifestyle, your budget, your future…
and your blindspots.

✨ I will explain things until they actually make sense. Not just what to do, but why it matters every step of the way.

✨ I will learn your coffee order, bring snacks, and show up with a buyer survival kit… because I know how to pour into you during this process.

✨ I will tell you when a house isn’t the one — even if it’s pretty.

✨ And I will answer the “wait…are we sure about this?” texts without making you feel dramatic or rushed.

Because buying a home is a big moment.

You don’t need someone performing.
You need someone paying attention.

(P.S. I may not be the dancing on the internet kind of agent but don’t…
don’t get it twisted — we will definitely hit a little one-two step at the closing and housewarming🥂🍾)

✨Reason No. 60: Because owning real estate is a decision — not a relationship status.

I love to see outdated ideals of homeownership being disrupted. My favorite is challenging the idea that it is supposed to happen after everything else lines up perfectly.

Marriage.
Dual income.
Perfect timing.
Perfect credit.
Perfect readiness.

Meanwhile, the numbers tell a different story.

Single women living alone are more likely than single men living alone to own homes in 47 of 50 states, with roughly 2.7 million more homes owned by women nationwide.

That doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens because more women are treating homeownership like what it is:
a wealth-building decision,
a stability decision,
and sometimes a fresh-start decision.

Buying alone isn’t the only path.
But it is a very real one.

And if the idea has crossed your mind quietly, you’re not strange, late, dramatic, or unrealistic. You just see the opportunity for what it is ✨💰💅🏽

Save this for later.
Or send it to the friend who needs a different perspective.

✨Reason No. 58: Because misinformation kills more homeownership dreams than money or credit does.

I swear that I hear the same three things all the time…

“I need 20% down.”

“My credit probably isn’t good enough.”

“I need to make more money first.”

While those things can matter, they’re often not the barrier people think they are.

I’ll also say that buying isn’t the right move for everyone right away… but understanding what’s actually required?

That changes everything.

Because sometimes the difference between renting and owning isn’t the money. It’s just the information.

✨Reason No. 56: Because living in Atlanta means business and pleasure can blend just like your favorite ice cream flavors.

One thing I love about Atlanta is that even in the middle of a busy Monday, there’s always a reason to pause and enjoy the moment.

Yesterday’s stop: Handel’s in Buckhead 🍦

(If you’ve never been, their homemade ice cream is kind of a big deal 😋… dozens of rotating flavors and everything made fresh in store.)

Just like cake batter and cookie dough, Atlanta has this perfect balance of hustle and lifestyle where you can step away for something sweet and still feel connected to the rhythm of the city.

Although this was meant to be a break, I actually ended up meeting someone new and of course we started talking business over pleasure.

That’s the thing about this city — the lifestyle and the opportunities have a way of blending together.

Kind of like the ice cream. 🍦

✨Reason No. 55: Because the weather is starting to say spring… and so is the housing market.

Every year around this time…

The weather warms up ☀️
The flowers start blooming 🌷
And suddenly everyone starts thinking about buying a home.

Spring is one of the busiest seasons in real estate.

More homes hit the market and the competition heats up.

And with all the recent talk about mortgage rates dipping this year… my guess is we may be in for a very interesting season.

Buyers who will win this season usually aren’t the ones who start looking in spring… they’re the ones who start preparing before everyone else does.

That’s why one of the smartest moves you can make right now is getting pre-approved and understanding your down payment and financing options early.

Because homeownership isn’t just about finding a house —
it’s about timing the market and having a plan.

Save this post if buying a home this year has crossed your mind.

And if the spring market is already on your radar, DM me SPRING or click the link in my bio and let’s talk strategy.

✨Reason No. 53: Because in Atlanta, Black excellence isn’t a moment… it’s the foundation.

Black History Month is a celebration and as it comes to a close, I’ve always been bothered that it stops here. With the end of February and Black history talk, I am reminded just how thankful I am that it doesn’t stop here in this city.

Because in this city?

It’s daily life.

It’s neighborhoods shaped by culture, creativity, and resilience.

It’s brunch at a Black-owned spot that feels like tradition. These businesses aren’t a trend, they’re staples.

It’s music that raised us embedded in the streets.

It’s the murals that look like us and read like reflections.

It’s entrepreneurs building generational wealth.

It’s teachers, lawyers, doctors, and professionals that keep the community moving everyday.

Atlanta doesn’t just “feature” Black excellence.

It runs on it.

And where culture feels like home…

Ownership should too. ✨

✨Reason No. 52: Because yesterday was cute but imagine giving yourself the keys 🌹🥀🔐

Yesterday I passed out roses all around the city and watching women light up over something so small made me think bigger.

What stayed with me wasn’t just the smiles, it was how many women said:

“I didn’t get one this year.”

“This is my only one.”

“Wow… nobody thought of me. Thank you.”

It made me pause.

Because so many of us are strong. Independent. Building careers. Raising kids. Starting over. Grinding quietly. So capable in our own right.

But we still find ourselves waiting in certain areas.

Waiting to be chosen.

Waiting for timing.

Waiting for someone to “do it with.”

And I left yesterday thinking… yes, being chosen feels SO good, I get it, but choosing yourself changes everything.

What if you stopped waiting?

Not in a loud way.

Not in a prove-it way.

Just in a grounded, intentional way.

This month I want to talk about that.

Yesterday I handed out roses. Next time, I want to hand out house keys.

Same smile. Different kind of security.

Stay with me. 🌹

✨Reason No. 51: Because buying in Atlanta can feel a lot like dating.

So let me remind you that compatibility will always matter more than chemistry.

Pretty kitchens fade.
Trending neighborhoods shift.

But that financial comfort, commute sanity, and long-term alignment?
That’s what makes homeownership in Atlanta actually make sense 😍

Take the compatibility check above.

Then comment MATCH if you want the Blueprint that walks you through this strategically.
