It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mascot and "General Manager", Peanut, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday evening.
Peanut was adopted in 2017 by Thompson Realty Group's owners Bill Thompson & Mike Barrette and quickly became a cherished member of a loving family that eventually grew to six other rescue cats, all given a second chance at life. In 2021, Peanut officially became the face of Thompson Realty Group, bringing warmth, personality, and a little bit of feline charm to everything we do.
Over the years, Peanut became much more than a mascot. He became a recognizable and beloved part of the Thompson Realty Group brand, and a familiar face and household name throughout the Attleboro community, as well as going viral on various social media pages such as "cats with jobs". Whether he was "supervising" from his office, appearing in social media posts, or simply making people smile, Peanut helped us connect with clients, friends, and neighbors in a way only he could.
While we are so deeply saddened by his loss, we are grateful for the joy, laughter, and countless memories he gave us. His legacy will continue to live on, and he will forever remain Thompson Realty Group's "General Manager".
