Nothing like a LONG weekend! 😊

It’s FRIDAY, and it’s officially Labor Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

What’s better than pulling into the campground, settling in, and spending the weekend enjoying everything right outside your door? Pool time, a game of horseshoe, good food, good company, and nowhere you need to be. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

We know we’ll see everyone out and about around Shady Creek this weekend, but if you’re looking for some local fun, here’s what’s happening:

🛍️TONIGHT: Celina’s Friday Night Market is back! With 60+ vendors, live music, and plenty of good food, it’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

🎤 TOMORROW: Country music fans can head to Legacy Hall in Plano for a Dolly Parton Tribute Event! *Tickets can be purchased online

☀️SUNDAY: Come back, slow down, and enjoy the park! Hit the pool, play some horseshoe, grill some burgers, play a little bean bag toss, or just enjoy a do-nothing Sunday around the campground.

🌶️ MONDAY: Don’t forget about our Labor Day Chili Cook-Off at 1:00 PM in the Shady Creek Courtyard! Come hungry, taste the entries, and help us crown our chili champions.

Long weekend plans = officially made. 🇺🇸

🔥 BURN BAN IN EFFECT - PLEASE HELP US KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE! 🔥

Denton County has issued a burn ban, and we ask that all guests please take extra care with fire safety while the ban is in effect.

🚫 This includes: no grilling over open flames, fire pits, or other outdoor burning. Please also use extreme caution when disposing of ci******es, and make sure they are fully extinguished and properly disposed of.

A small spark can quickly become a dangerous fire, especially in these dry conditions. We appreciate everyone doing their part to help us protect our community and our neighbors.

As wildfires continue to impact communities across Texas, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected. We are also incredibly grateful for the firefighters, first responders, and emergency personnel working tirelessly to contain these fires and protect our Texas communities. Thank you for all that you do.
