What do the numbers tell us?
Houses on the market has dropped nearly 27% from last year.
While 'properties sold' is up 22% from last year and 'new listings' slightly decreased.
This has lead to a decrease from 99 days on the market to just 66.
On top of that, with people qualifying for more and lack of inventory, prices have steadily increased 3.7% from last year.

In conclusion, if you were considering selling your property now is the time to do so to get the most for your home. Next year, we are likely to see more pre-foreclosures hitting the market, which would increase supply and potentially lower price growth. For buyers, it is all about striking fast and striking first with a strong offer. Not just getting pre-qualified but also pre-underwritten could help big time.
