Easy ways to add a touch of fall to your home:
-Add dried flowers in vases (Hobby Lobby and Trader Joe's have a great assortment).
-Place battery operated candles throughout your home to cast a soft glow (bonus - no fire hazards!).
-Hang twinkle lights around a mirror, in a plant, in glass jar or vase, or around a wreath to add a little magic.
-Add a couple of cozy throw pillows or blankets to your couch, a chair, or bed (TJ Maxx, Target, Homegoods, and Marshalls all have a great selection of cozy and affordable ones!).
-Display your favorite books or photos for a hint of nostalgia. Another unique thing to do is to remove the book covers and display the beautiful canvas bindings (or organize them by color).
-Change out your lamp lightbulbs. Lowe's has a "vintage" lightbulb that casts a soft, amber glow in your home. No more harsh lighting!
-Use diffuser oil. Pick a fall scent and put it in your favorite diffuser to spread a little cinnamon, cloves or whatever your favorite fall scent is throughout your home.
-YouTube has tons of videos if you just search "Fall ambience." If you have a smart TV, you can cast these from your phone or electronic device and have a cozy fall scene (crackling fire, leaves rustling, rain, etc.) playing on your TV.
-Add a few pumpkins to your front porch or home. Trader Joe's has the cinderella type pumpkins in the pastel orange and soft green colors for a little something different.
-And lastly, add whatever makes you happy and suits you!
