A Real Reason to Work with a Local Lender. Ask us or your Realtor for one that is trusted to close on time!!
Here we go, we are supposed to close early next week, Sellers are signing tomorrow!! My buyers got the call today that they don't qualify for the loan. Say What????!!! They are coming with $269,000 Down, and the balance was the loan. Also Dad was co- signing with them while working with this lender for months.... this should have been addressed and avoided long ago. I must add that the house they are selling is in Escrow out of state and it would have been a short term loan anyway. We are now working with a local lender and have to add a few weeks to the escrow.
A Bright spot in all this... The sellers were staying there for another month anyway.
