Homeowners,
We will be having our annual HOA meeting on December 4th at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Auburn located at 1203 East Seventh St., Auburn.

This year we have three board member positions up for election. It is important to note that we are welcoming anyone that may want to serve as Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary to please submit their intention to run by 10 days prior to the Annual Meeting. This can be submitted by mail or email. These are volunteer positions that save the community quite a bit of money. If we do not continue to have residents willing to invest the time to participate, we may face considering hiring a management company. This would likely cause an increase in the annual dues to cover those costs. The dues currently cover only the bare needs to maintain the properties. The positions, on average, require 2-3 hours a month with additional time around dues and invoicing.

Someone took a carabinier (spelled right?) clip off the brand new tire swing that is now going to need replaced to be usable. There are dirty clothes all around the commons area, as well as trash. It's absolutely ridiculous that anyone would disrespect the neighborhood like that.

If resident's can't respect the new equipment, take care of cleaning up messes they make, and are going to disrespect the commons area;

1 - Don't expect more work to be done. We would like to have a gazebo area, potentially a "dog park", or other amenities that make it more useable for everyone. But if this is what we can expect, it isn't going to happen.

2 - Outdoor cameras can be placed to record and monitor the area. The residents responsible for damages, trashing the area, or other issues can begin receiving fines.

The Mason's Village Neighborhood Association Community Garage Sale will be Labor Day Weekend from Friday, September 2nd through Sunday, September 4th from 8-4.

We are aware of the trees down in the front entrance. We will be working on a solution soon. The trees broke above the roots and may be covered under a warranty, but we won't know until we contact the landscape company.

A few reminders!!!

Tomorrow night at 6pm is our Annual Resident Meeting. The Meeting will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Auburn. This is meeting is open to all residents.

Our 3rd Annual Garage Sale starts September 3rd and runs through Monday the 7th. Sales will run from 9-5 each day. Signs will go up tomorrow night!!
