Today’s closing was extra special, because I got to help my big sister and brother in law buy their first home!

Years ago when 19 year old me needed a place to live and my $8 an hour job couldn’t afford me much my big sister Amanda let me move into her 1 bed/1 bath not so big apartment. Talk about a good older sis. 🫢😂

Now at 28 years it felt full circle to be able to help her and Hunter buy their first home. Congratulations to them and a big thank you to Joey Cummings - Guild Mortgage for being such an amazing lender!

Hyping yourself up and celebrating the wins ≠ being cocky and having too big of an ego

^^ something I’m trying to teach myself in 2024, so here I am throwing a party looking at Decembers closings. 🥳

I was looking back over how I ended the year and realized in December I helped my clients close a quadplex, duplex and single family home that will be a rental.

Quadplex: I actually helped this client purchase this property a few years ago and was thrilled when he reached back out about selling it. He’s so fun to work with and I love seeing how far his investing journey has come!

Duplex: this was a new client looking to sell as soon as possible and we were able to find a great buyer who also kept this in property management with my brokerage. 🎉

Single family rental: I’ve been working with these clients for a little bit now looking for deals and this was their first investment property closed in Augusta. They are a joy to work with and there will be many more to come!
