This is why you get an inspection on "brand new" RV's. The dealership literally created access doors for both main slideout motors and then sold the unit as New after the original buyers backed out.

Now that I've posted the bad. Here's how we fixed the issues. We pulled all the rusty screws and patched all of the places that had separated from the RV allowing water inside.
Then we hired some extra muscle and added slideout toppers as an extra layer of protection for the slideouts.

Had a big install this week due to some water intrusion issues. Here are the leak points. This is a 2020 Rig and it has only been moved a few times. These are factory issues! None of the screws holding the side gutters were sealed correctly.

This is what "That little soft spot in the corner" translates to. Get it fixed correctly with the right materials or you will be doing it again!

Working primarily with low voltage means that I am soldering and waterproofing a LOT of small wires! If you wondered how I'm still getting things done in a timely fashion, this will explain a lot.

Tip for other Techs: Get these and then order 200 extra of the blue and white sizes for RV 12volt!

Had a customer that had a "small project." There are no "small projects" when your house is on wheels. He needed this latch replaced. His door was swinging open and that would be bad going down the road. I got him back up and running after a bit of fine tuning to line up the replacement latch that was the same part number but not the same dimensions. He and his wife are all buttoned up and ready to roll to their next adventure.

Don't neglect small repairs because "they can wait" get to them while you are parked and not on the side of the road!
