STOP SAVING FOR THE WRONG NUMBER. 😳

Imagine wanting to buy a $300,000 home and thinking:

“I can't. I don't have $60,000 for the down payment.”

So you wait.

And wait.

And renew another lease.

Except…

Nobody ever told you that you HAD to put $60,000 down.

This is one of the home-buying myths I wish would disappear.

Yes, 20% down can make sense in some situations.

But it is not the universal price of admission to homeownership.

There are loan programs with much lower down-payment requirements, and some qualified buyers may have 0% down options.

That doesn't automatically mean you should buy a house tomorrow.

It means you should make the decision using your actual numbers, not a rule somebody told you 10 years ago.

How much would you need?

What would your payment be?

What about closing costs?

Could the seller contribute?

Which loan programs could you qualify for?

You might discover you're not ready yet.

But you might also discover you're a whole lot closer than you thought.
