A is for Avery in our house, so naturally, welcome to “The Baxter A-Frame”, the beautiful and serene off grid cabin that myself, Brynna, and the boys just purchased on Millinocket Lake. Praise be to God!

These last two months have been an absolute whirlwind; in fact, this entire year has been! From the deaths of very close loved ones, to career challenges, to you name it. This was and is a true leap of faith, and one in which we really felt a pull from God on. After all, faith and fear both require you to believe in something you can’t see or prove, so why not jump?

This is a camp situated in a very special place to us, right at the foot of Mount Katahdin and is just a couple back roads away from the entrance of Baxter State Park. We feel blessed and honored to now steward it as our very own getaway-with plans to share in the very near future. It truly is a piece of Gods country, and boy, His glory and His hand is hard to ignore when you’re up there!

We can’t give enough thanks to those who have encouraged and supported us through this process, because it certainly hasn’t been an easy one! Here’s to quietness and simplicity, and here’s to generational memories.

I had a home inspection yesterday with some buyer clients of mine in Waterville. The house has an alarm system and the cops showed up for an active burglary in progress! Well, it’s safe to say the alarm works and most definitely passed inspection.

Something I’ve always appreciated about living in New England, is that the seasons keep you in a constant state of gratitude for the current one you’re in.
As magical as a Maine summer is, enduring the heat and humidity often times leads way to the craving of those crisp mornings and cozy fall nights.
The fireplace, the warm coffee or c***r, the leaves changing, and that gentle stillness the region transorms into before making way for winter.
