CSRA REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE | AUGUST 2026
The CSRA housing market is continuing to shift toward a more balanced market as we move through the second half of summer.
๐ What are we seeing?
โข More options for buyers โ Inventory has improved across many parts of the CSRA, giving buyers more homes to compare and a little more negotiating power.
โข Pricing matters more than ever โ Buyers are paying attention to value. Homes that are priced correctly and show well can still attract strong interest, while overpriced homes are more likely to sit and require price adjustments.
โข Sellers can still succeed โ This isnโt a bad market for sellers, but the days of simply putting a home on the market and expecting immediate offers are largely behind us. Strong presentation, marketing and an accurate list price are increasingly important.
โข Buyers have some breathing room โ Increased inventory means buyers may have more opportunities to negotiate on price, closing costs, repairs and other terms.
