I provide real estate services to buyers and sellers throughout the northern Denver metro area, including Commerce City, Westminster, north Aurora, Brighton, and Thornton, with special expertise in the Buffalo Run neighborhood of Commerce City. My parents have lived in the same home for 58 years which is what I thought I would do too. Imagine my surprise when in 2002, we uprooted our high school a

ged boys and moved to the Denver area. This is where my intrigue with real estate began. I soon found out the importance of choosing a realtor that will listen to your needs and knows the market. Since moving to Denver, I have had the opportunity to be both on the buying and selling side of real estate. I understand the importance of choosing your home based on important things like schools, work commute, investment opportunity, upsizing, downsizing…etc. This is why I take my role as Realtor so seriously. I pride myself on providing all of my clients with a high level of customer service and base my business on relationships built on trust. In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as skiing, hiking and golfing. When this wonderful Colorado weather does not allow outdoor activities, I also enjoy reading, decorating and cooking. So if you’re thinking of selling in the next few months, here’s your gentle nudge to take care of a few things...

✔️ Evaluate major home systems - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roof.
✔️ Fix leaky faucets.
✔️ Tighten loose cabinet pulls or door k***s.
✔️ Paint dingy walls, doors, and ceilings.
✔️ Freshen up the yard by trimming trees and shrubs and laying mulch.
✔️ Deep clean carpets.
✔️ Declutter, declutter, declutter.

Over the years, I've seen how the timing of the market can impact the sale of a home. It's like cooking a masterpiece, you have to gather all the right ingredients and wait for the perfect moment to bring everything together.

That “perfect moment” can totally depend on your personal situation. But for many, that often comes in late spring — specifically May — when sellers typically boost average sales prices.

Interest rates, simplified. ✅

An interest rate is the “price” a lender charges a borrower for a loan. Just like a pair of jeans at your favorite store, every loan has a price tag. That price tag is the interest rate. But instead of dollars and cents, the price of borrowing a sum of money is a percentage of the total amount borrowed.

Interest rates rise and fall daily based on loan type (rates are typically lower for shorter-term loans), what the Feds are doing (the U.S. central bank), and, yes, inflation.
