Big freeze coming up.. prep time!

Couple tips:
-Open cabinets under sinks to allow more heat in
-Drip water in kitchen and bathroom sinks
-Un hook any outside hoses and water lines to prevent freeze breaks
-Change furnace filters and ensure heat is working correctly
-In case of a freeze break ...know where your water shut off is located
-Stay warm and don't forget about your furry friends

First freeze is coming this weekend!

Please be sure swamp coolers and sprinklers are winterized.

And TEST all heaters and be sure they are working and heating correctly!! Stay warm!

Potential big storm on the way. Be sure to un hook any water hose from the spigot to prevent freezes. Try and keep an eye on trees and bushes and brush snow off as needed to prevent broken branches. Stay warm and safe!

Don't forget to turn on sprinklers this week, each City has its restrictions so be sure to follow those rules to avoid fines!

As you might already know, we are expecting below 0 temperatures and snow in the
next two days. Please be sure to prepare for the low temperatures by following
some best practices:

1.
Disconnect and store any garden hoses and then shut off the water to those
faucets (townhomes)

2.
Keep water flowing - set your
faucets to a slow drip whenever temperatures dip well below freezing. For maximum effectiveness, make sure both the
hot and cold lines are opened slightly since both are vulnerable. Also,
consider leaving cabinet doors open so your pipes will be warmed from the room
air.

3. Check all windows to ensure
they are properly closed.

4. Maintain your thermostat
running (never less than at 65F) and have batteries handy in case you need them. Be sure furnance filter is clean and new for best airflow.

5. Pay close attention to the
ground, avoid areas covered by ice as much as possible and and wear adequate footwear to be safe while outside.
