Here is our first hand experience diagnosing this in a client's home:🏠
Client initially reached out because 3-way switches were controlling other lights and circuits in different rooms. Different combinations of switch positions also led to the dimming and brightening of lights as well! Further investigation revealed incorrect wiring and even multiple hot feeds to the same receptacle! This definitely contributed to the degrading of garage outlets and consequently everything down stream.
