🏔️ Apparently, America has a crush on Colorado. And Denver is getting some serious attention. 😏
A new 2026 Clever Real Estate survey ranked:
🥈 Denver the #2 MOST DESIRABLE CITY in America
🏔️ Colorado the #3 MOST DESIRABLE STATE
As a Colorado native, I can't say I'm surprised. 😉
What makes people want to live here? The survey pointed to things like safety, sunshine, cleanliness, access to healthcare, things to do and natural beauty.
But let me give you the Colorado version…
☀️ Sunshine? We get A LOT of it. Colorado is famous for its blue-sky days—even when there's snow on the ground.
🏔️ Things to do? Pick your season. Skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Hiking, biking, camping, paddleboarding and boating when it's warm. And yes, some of us will do several of those in the same week. 😂
🐶 Dog friendly? Absolutely. Around here, your dog may have a better social life than you do. Trails, parks, patios and dog-friendly businesses are everywhere.
🏥 Healthcare? The Denver Metro has a huge healthcare network, with major hospital systems, specialty care and urgent-care locations throughout the area.
🌲 Natural beauty? Mountains, reservoirs, trails, open space and sunsets that still make me stop and take a picture—even after living here my whole life.
And while Denver gets the national attention, don't overlook Aurora and Parker. There are some incredible neighborhoods, restaurants, trails, reservoirs and local hot spots on this side of town that people relocating here don't always know about.
Sounds a little like Colorado, doesn't it?
We didn't need a survey to tell us Colorado is pretty amazing… but we'll take the #2 and #3 rankings. 😂
Thinking about making a move to, from, or within the Denver Metro?
I've been helping people navigate this market for more than two decades—and knowing which neighborhood fits your lifestyle AND your budget can make all the difference.
