In 2013, Andrea decided to come back to Austin to be closer to her beloved family and friends and to start her own business. Andrea Amico Consulting was born. Andrea represented 32 of the world’s most beautiful high-end hotels. All told, Andrea spent nearly twenty years nurturing relationships and providing personal, detail-oriented, next-level service to her clients. This thriving career took a huge hit when travel came screeching to a halt in 2020 but it might be the best thing that ever happened to her. She re-evaluated how she might be of best service to her community and decided to merge her love of beautiful spaces and her joy caring for clients into a new career chapter….real estate. She was thrilled to join her dear friend, Ben Baronet and the Compass family. Andrea hit the ground running, closing multiple deals within her first few months on the job. Andrea, her husband Derek, and their two Australian Shepards recently moved from hip South Lamar to their custom-built new home in Bee Cave. "Christmas Can't Be Bought From a Store. Maybe Christmas Means A Little Bit More" -Dr. Seuss. What a treat it has been spending a few days of quality time at my parents place in the home I spent most of my childhood in. They have always gone out of their way to make Christmas extra special, from their beautiful decorations (and there is a LOT of them- both inside and out) it is a holiday that my entire family looks forward to. I have fond memories of my Mom spending countless hours baking cookies passed down from many generations and hiding for days in her room wrapping gifts while I spent months scrolling through the Sears Christmas Wish book. To date, my favorite gift was an old fashioned cash register that I spent years playing "store" with. What is your favorite Christmas memory? No matter what holiday you celebrate, I hope this season brings you and your loved ones all the love and health in the world.

Holidays are even more fun when you spread them out over time with mini celebrations.

My sweet parents surprised us with tickets to Cirque de Soleil and I don’t know what I was memorized more with- the incredible performance or my niece and nephew’s eyeballs coming out experiencing a show like this. 😮
