This month has flown by!! July has been a great month for the Balentines’ from a trip to Colorado to hanging out at Starbucks. The kids are having a great summer and so are James and I! Don’t get me wrong, I am excited for the school year to start 😜. I do love the longer days however bed time comes up really fast for me 😴.

The countdown to the Big Sugar 50-Mile Gravel Race is on! 🚴‍♀️💪
Training has officially commenced!! Carey and I had an absolute blast getting in another training ride with an incredible supportive group who led us on an urban adventure through a fun mix of trails, roads, gravel, and everything in between. It was the perfect reminder that the best rides are about more than just the miles—they’re about the people you share them with.
A huge thank you to my husband, James, for always supporting our cycling adventures, and to the entire crew for making the ride so much fun and guiding us along an awesome route.
We’ve definitely got some work to do before race day, but every ride makes us stronger and more prepared. With more time in the saddle, we know WE WILL be ready.
If anyone is training for the Big Sugar Ride here in Austin and wants to join us for the occasional gravel ride, direct message me! We are going to be planning more as race day nears.

Lunch dates with Terra are always fun ❤️! We had a great time catching up over lunch at LORO at The Domain, and of course we had to take a few selfies.

Apparently, I still have some work to do on my selfie game... 🤣 Mine somehow managed to cut off the LORO sign, while Terra’s captured the sign and gave us both a much better angle. Clearly, Terra is the selfie expert!

We even squeezed in a little window shopping before heading back to the day. Good food, great conversation, and quality time with one of my favorite people.

San Antonio has always held a special place in my heart. It’s where my family moved after I graduated from high school in St. Louis, where I attended Trinity University, where I met and married James, and where I discovered my passion for triathlons and cycling.

Today, it’s also a place I’m fortunate to continue serving as I help clients buy and sell real estate throughout the San Antonio area.

This past month, I had the privilege of helping one family relocate back to San Antonio from Denver (in multiple offers no less!) and another return home to Texas from Hawaii after retiring from the military. Being part of such meaningful life transitions is one of the greatest honors of my job.

I also enjoy working in both the Austin and San Antonio markets. While they’re only about an hour apart, each has its own personality, pace, and market dynamics. It’s fascinating to experience both and help clients navigate the unique opportunities each city has to offer.

I’m grateful that San Antonio continues to be such an important part of both my personal story and my real estate career. ❤️

Wow, what a whirlwind June was!
