Wow!! I’m insanely proud of our neighborhood and it’s grassroots campaign to fight forceable annexation and for better community services. We watched as our crime rose 500% with the understaffed APD cutting patrols completely. It’s a frightening feeling to call the police and know that it’s in vain, no one is coming to your aid. I don’t want my boys to be raised in this great state and think that’s the norm. This new law doesn't mean the fight is over!! We have to get on the ballot and have an election to let our voices be truly heard!! Thank you to all the people who gave up their time and energy to make our community safer!! Let's do this!!

We did it!! Our grassroots fight against forceable annexation passed the House and the Senate!! We just need the Governor to sign it into law. This doesn’t mean the fight is over!!
