Start with picking up a 📗 on the topic. Read the book, and most importantly apply the concepts.

I love Austin and am excited about its growth, but what does it mean for those of us who enjoy the city’s charm…

What makes our city a desirable location for movie making❓

Similar reasons for why a lot of us have moved here too.

The ☀️ weather, the creative scene 🖌️🎨 , the diverse landscape🏜️, and economic opportunities. THAT is what makes it an attractive location for 🎥 movie making 🎬.

The construction of 3 new Film Making Studios in Austin:

1️⃣ Stray Vista Studios in Dripping Springs

2️⃣ Hill Country Studios in San Marcos

3️⃣ Bastrop 552 in Bastrop

This will change the landscape and ambiance of these smaller towns, and the city of Austin as a whole.

While the growth of the film industry and economic development in Austin is exciting, it is important to consider the potential consequences of rapid growth and development.

As our city continues to evolve and expand, we may lose some of its unique charm and character that initially attracted a lot of us to come here.

Ultimately, it is essential to balance progress with preserving the unique character and charm that makes Austin so special.

🌸 Spring is here! Enjoy the wildflowers (bluebonnets everywhere) for a limited time at this amazing park! 🌼

The Veloway at Circle C Ranch Metropolitan Park was constructed in the early 90’s and was the first facility of its kind in the United States. Impressive!!! 🚴‍♂️

It is a 23’ wide, 3.1 miles (5K) long bicycle track that traverses the natural terrain.

In addition to cycling, many roller bladers use the track. ⛸️

Whatever your interests, the Veloway park is sure to offer something that will appeal to you. 🏞️

People travel from all over the metropolitan region to cycle here on a daily basis. 🚵‍♀️

It is worth noting that the project was partially funded by Texas Parks and Wildlife Grant. Grants like these are crucial for funding projects that benefit the community and the environment. 🌿

The Veloway is an excellent example of how such grants can be used to create facilities that promote healthy outdoor activities while preserving natural resources. 🌳🌺 by .romero.realtor

Why are they coming to Austin❓

Spurs are celebrating their 50th Anniversary 🎉

They are committed to engaging and celebrating their entire fanbase, including those who live outside of San Antonio.

The historic nature of these games has created a hype among fans in Austin and beyond.

The atmosphere at these events is just exhilarating... if you've been to one, you can probably relate…

This gets me thinking🤔…

Will we get a team of our own in Austin❓

Who knows❓

Either way, for us fans, this is exciting.

These events have a significant economic impact on the community.

Hosting a professional sports team can bring in tourism dollars 💵 and create jobs for locals.

It's also a testament to Austin's growing reputation as a world-class 🌎 destination for sports and live events.

What a great opportunity for the Spurs organization to connect with fans and for the city of Austin to showcase its capabilities as a host for major sporting events.

🤔 Growing family? Should you stay or upsize? I recently discussed this with a homeowner, and here's what you should consider:

1️⃣ Space: does your current living space accommodate your growing family comfortably? Does your family have enough bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and storage space?

If you find that your current home is becoming too cramped, then it might be time to upsize.

2️⃣ Location: If you were to move from your current home/neighborhood, how would it affect your family's lifestyle? Would commute times, access to schools, parks, and other amenities be impacted?

If your current location no longer meets your family's needs, it may be time to move to a new neighborhood.

3️⃣ Cost: Have you thought about the financial costs of upsizing? Including the purchase price of a larger home, moving expenses, and potential increases in property taxes, utilities, and maintenance costs?

Determine if you can afford, or want the extra expenses, and if the investment is worth it.

5️⃣ Future Plans: What are your family's long-term plans? Will your family continue to grow or is this a temporary need?

If you plan to have more children, it may make sense to upsize now rather than in the future.

6️⃣ Emotional Attachment: Are you emotionally attached to your current home? Does the thought of leaving your home and community make you feel anxious or sad?

Everyone has a priority of events to attend for SXSW.

Mine was to attend ICON’s unveiling of “Initiative 99”.

An architectural competition that challenges entrants to reimagine affordable housing by designing homes that can be built for less than $99K!!!

ICON’s partnerships with various organizations and governments (U.S., Mexico, and El Salvador) has the potential to transform the way we think about housing and make homeownership more accessible to people around the world.

This challenges us (whether in the real estate industry or not) to reimagine home building, home design, and home purchases.

Afterall, everyone needs a place to live/home
