Before you buy a home in Northwest Hills, it’s important to understand the topography. What many buyers don’t realize is that there are essentially two different parts of the neighborhood: the hills and the flats.
The hills are known for larger lots, incredible views, more privacy, and homes that often back to greenbelts.
The flats offer a different lifestyle—more sidewalks, easier bike rides, and a more walkable feel, especially for families with young kids.
Neither is better and there are families everywhere. It simply comes down to the lifestyle you’re looking for.
As someone who lives in Northwest Hills, this is one of the first conversations I have with buyers because choosing the right part of the neighborhood can be just as important as choosing the right house.
