Amazon's proposed advanced robotics manufacturing facility could employ 300 to 500 people and be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027, but that would be just a snippet of what's planned. It’s estimated that Dog’s Head could eventually have 12,395 residential units and nine million square feet of commercial, industrial and hospitality space. It’s estimated that outside of the Amazon facility, the first vertical construction in the Dog’s Head would happen in 2030 and 2031.

The Austin City Council has approved a TIRZ for the Dog's Head, to help set up the 2,600+ acre site to be developed in the decades ahead.

Austin just made history. The Austin Business Journal reports that the Census confirmed 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓— landing it among only 12 U.S. cities to ever reach that milestone. That's a 4.6% population jump since 2020…

We're the 12th largest city American city now. At one point, Austin was in the top 10.
