Sometimes a home needs more than a second chance. It needs a different plan.
After living in their home on Clifford Avenue for a few years, my clients, Lori and Scott, relocated to Chicago.
The home had previously been on the market but didn’t sell. When they gave me the opportunity to take it on, I knew our first step wasn’t putting it right back on the market.
It was preparation.
We took a close look at the home and focused on what we could do to make it more marketable and reduce potential concerns for the next buyer.
We refreshed the landscaping, including trimming and replacing trees. Big shout out to FP Landscaping for the transformation. 🙌🏾
We painted the interior, touched up the exterior, replaced windows, addressed plumbing and electrical items, serviced and updated the HVAC, and had the home professionally cleaned from top to bottom.
The goal was simple.
Take care of the details before buyers had a reason to question them.
With the home refreshed, move in ready, and located in the desirable Rosewood neighborhood, we felt good about how we were positioned.
Then came the part you can’t control: the market.
Lori and Scott had realistic expectations, listened to what the market was telling us, and were willing to adjust when needed.
Thankfully, we found the right buyer. 🏡
I’m grateful Lori and Scott gave me the opportunity to represent them and trusted the plan from beginning to end. Now they can officially close this chapter in Austin and move forward with the next one. 🙏🏾
Every move starts with a conversation. Let’s talk.
