It’s incredible how quickly the Downtown Austin Convention Center has disappeared! Its replacement will be a great thing for this corner of Downtown. It not only creatively reestablishes Waller’s 1839 street grid (in place before 1989), but also doubles the size of the prior convention center. All within the same footprint.
