We do this because our members are leaders and champions of the goal of tripling the median level of Hispanic household wealth and realizing sustainable Hispanic homeownership. We encourage all to share these disciplines with their sphere of influence, clients, supporters, and their families to realize success in their professional and personal lives, to thrive in the industry, and to create long-lasting, generational wealth. We are focused on providing our Austin familia, and the real estate industry in our city, the opportunities necessary to create more millionaires, successful business owners, and community leaders for generations to come. NAHREP Austin’s involvement in legislation and politics is bi-partisan, and we believe in civil and human rights for all. We advocate for fair housing and lending practices, which include fair access to credit, affordable housing, and the proper care of our workforce. We stress how important the 2020 Census and being registered to Vote are, so no one is left behind, and all voices are heard. We work with the ABOR Strategic Partner Alliance, the HOWTO (Hispanic Organizations Working Together as One) Alliance, along with other organizations to make a more significant impact in protecting and advocating for the public.
