The truth of the matter is that the home-buying process can be very intimidating, I’m here to make it a little less scary. Here are some facts about the Austin market that may ease your mind:
🔑 There are less buyers and more inventory now in comparison to the last few years. That means less competition.
🔑Because of the lesser competition, you don’t *typically* have to offer as much over list price as you have heard people doing. You may even be able to get under contract below list price. That money you would have used to offer far over list can be used to buy down interest rate points.
🔑 Speaking of interest rates: they may seem high sitting in the 5s right now, but if you zoom out, we are still on the lower end of the average over the last 30 years.

All this to say, if you’re on the fence about buying, it’s still an opportune time to buy! If you have any questions about buying or selling in the Austin market, I’m here for you!
