Over the past several years, I’ve spent a great deal of time involved in dealmaking, commercial real estate, and business acquisitions.

Some of those deals involved multifamily real estate transactions exceeding 8 figures, where we acquired, improved operations, scaled the asset, and ultimately exited successfully.

Others were much smaller service-based businesses, where the lessons were just as valuable.

Some exits were successful.

Others were… less so.

But every deal, good or bad, teaches you something about how businesses actually operate, how deals are structured, and where risk hides beneath the numbers.

One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that people interested in buying businesses often operate in isolation.

They look at listings alone.
They analyze deals alone.
They try to figure out financing and structure alone.

That’s part of the reason I created the Acquisition Operator Network.

It’s a community of entrepreneurs interested in:
