Everything has a beginning and an end.
This year marks 18 years of our Christmas display and 11 years collecting donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. After much thought, we have decided that this will be our final season for the display.
We want to take this last year to celebrate everything this display has brought to life. In 2016, we granted our very first wish. In 2019, we were honored to win The Great Christmas Light Fight and be named one of the nation’s best displays. In 2021, together with your support, we raised a record-breaking $80,000 for Make-A-Wish in one season.
Because of this community, nearly $400,000 has been raised, granting more than 50 life-changing wishes, with more to come this Christmas season. From trips to Disney, Japan, and New York, to room makeovers, shopping sprees, and even celebrity meet-and-greets—these moments of joy have been made possible by you.
To everyone who has volunteered, donated, or simply come to share the magic with us—thank you. This display has become a holiday tradition for countless families, and it has been our greatest joy to welcome thousands of visitors year after year.
As we begin to close this chapter, we look forward to spending more time with our family and friends during the holidays, and perhaps traveling to see the magic of other displays. This has been an unforgettable journey—one we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
This may be a farewell after this Christmas season, but it is not the end. One day, we will return in a new way, in a new location, to start a new story.
