If you received a Notice of Appraised Value from your county appraisal district, you have until May 15, 2025 (or 30 days from the date on your notice, whichever is later) to file a protest — or you waive your right to appeal this year's valuation. 🏠💰

What you need to know:
--> The deadline to protest Texas property taxes is May 15
--> You can file your protest online at your county CAD website
--> You don't need a lawyer — you can protest your home value yourself
--> Even a small reduction can save you hundreds in taxes annually
--> Missing this deadline means paying your assessed value — no exceptions

💡 Pro Tip: Pull recent comparable sales (comps) in your neighborhood and submit them as evidence. If the market value on your notice is higher than what homes nearby are selling for, you have a strong case.
