Some closings are business. Some closings become personal. 🏡❤️🔑

CLOSED & FUNDED! 🎉

When I say I worked HARD for this closing, I mean it.

My client and her husband had owned this home since the late 1960s. Just imagine how much life, love, history, and memories can fill a home over that many years.

Preparing a home with that much history for sale was a project in itself. I didn’t just put a sign in the yard and list it. I project managed the clean-up, coordinated what needed to be done, worked through the details, and helped get this property ready for its next chapter.

But in the middle of the sale, everything changed.

My client’s husband passed away. 💔

At that point, this transaction became about so much more than real estate.

She was grieving her husband while also trying to navigate the sale of a home they had shared for decades. I made it a priority to be there. I spent at least one day a week with her after his passing—sometimes handling things with the house, sometimes talking, sometimes simply spending time together.

And somewhere along the way, she stopped feeling like just my client.

She became family. ❤️

I genuinely looked forward to our time together, and I will forever be grateful that this profession allowed our paths to cross.

Today, I’m celebrating a successful closing, but I’m even more grateful for the relationship that came from it.

Real estate isn’t always pretty pictures, keys and SOLD signs. Sometimes it’s clean-outs, difficult conversations, unexpected loss, problem-solving, patience, compassion, and simply showing up when someone needs you.

This one took a lot out of me—but it also gave me something I’ll carry long after closing day. ❤️
