The Greater Journey: travel abroad during the coronavirus. I have loved reading David McCullough’s The Greater Journey, which depicts the travels of the American Artists to Paris after the Revolutionary War. Now I have taken the new journey in the Modern World and have faced the challenges of getting a health pass here in France. I have had such a wonderful time. My room at The Regina faces the Louvre n has a view of tje Eiffel Tower and Rue Rivoli. The Musee Decorative Arts has two exciting exhibits, Cartier snd Thierry Mugler. Absolutely incredible and inspirational. We have dined at Bistro Volnay, Le Castiglione, and Le Belle Eñoque. We love Bar Vendome and Hemingway at the Ritz, but our favorite is tje Bar at Hotel de Crillon, which was a residence of King Louis XV and Marie Antoinette. I ran three laps at Les Tuileries today and checked out their ducks. Today we are off to Mont Marte to see Sacre Coeur. Also going to check on Romuald at the Gucci store. Love Paris!
