Our Story

I'm an established and successful professional musician in Austin Texas and have been for thirty years. I graduated with an Associates of Arts in Communications from Austin Community College (even managed to make it into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society!), so I know Austin well. At one point, when I was looking for housing for myself and my doggies, I saw a necessity for real estate agents who were willing to work hard to get hard working people into great homes. So I did the work and added Realtor®, and then did more work to add my GRI (The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) certification, followed by earning my SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) title to my resume so I could confidently and completely fill that need.

For most of my life I’ve lived in and played in and enjoyed all things South Austin. So naturally I joined Star Tex Real Estate located in Buda Texas (South Austin) and started my Get SoMe Austin (South Menchaca Rd/South Austin area) buzzletter. The buzzletter is so much fun to write (and research!) and it focuses on all the wonderful things to do, eat, see, and listen to in the south Menchaca and south Austin area as well as keeping you up to date on neighborhoods, values, and what’s new in the market.

This area can be a great choice if you want to stay close to the vibe and heart of downtown Austin, but still want a slower-paced neighborhood feel. The best part - there are still affordable options here that I'd love to share with you.� I love helping sellers, buyers, renters and property owners looking for renters accomplish their real estate goals.
